Navy and Rust Micro Macrame Neckpiece

A one and only piece of wearable art, everything about this neckpiece states, "I'm unique."  Starting with the handmade  33 x 40 mm polymer clay cabochon (a one and only; can not be duplicated) is set in navy 3 ply bonded nylon cord.  This durable cord also creates the framework and neck cord.  Japanese silk embroidery floss is used for the leaves in colors complementary to the colors in the cabochon.  African clay beads accent the design.  A magnetic clasp holds the piece secure.

Navy and rust macrame neckpiece has a  three color polymer clay focal cabochon.  The navy bezel setting and framework are a 3 ply bonded nylon cord.  The leaves are made with silk embroidery floss and mirror the colors in the cabochon.  African clay beads add an interesting accent to the design.  Within the framework there is a sense of symmetry, but upon a closer look there are slight differences on each side.  The center design is 5 inches at the widest point and 5.5 inches from the point at the bottom of the cabochon to where the half hitch spiral cord begins.  The half hitch spiral cords on each side are about 7.5 inches long.  The look is that of the design being on approximately a 20 in cord.  It fastens with a magnetic clasp allowing for easy on and off.
