Open Leaf Wrapped Macrame Pendant

A small focal cabochon set in a simple fiber bezel from which fiber “vines” with leaves weave and loop around a fiber neck cord of the same color.  The leaves add a splash of color and texture.  They are knotted from Japanese silk embroidery  thread.  A strong magnetic clasp allows for easy on and off.

The Open Leaf Wrapped Macrame Pendant has a center cabochon of approximately 25 x 30 mm set in a simple fiber bezel.  On each side of the cabochon is a matching fiber “vine” with leaves of varying colors which compliment the the focal cabochon.  These “vines” and leaves then entwine around the neck cord.  The colorful leaves are knotted from silk embroidery floss..  Each necklace is slightly different from the other; the vines with the leaves are individually wrapped around the cord and secured.  The neck cords are 20 inches long half hitch twisted sennits in the same color nylon cord as the bezel and “vines”.  The neck cords fasten with a magnetic clasp
